Windows Upgrade Service

Windows 10 and Windows 11 are the only current versions of Windows, but it is still possible to obtain a valid upgrade licence free of charge from Windows 7 or Windows 8.

We can do this within our Full Service, although the success of the upgrade will depend on the availability of compatible Windows 10/11 drivers on the manufacturer's web site. If no such device driver software is available, then the upgrade may not be advisable or even feasible.

If you're still running a Windows 7 computer, you are very strongly advised not to use it to connect to the internet. If you do, you are placing yourself and others using the same broadband connection in an extremely vulnerable position in respect of internet-borne viruses, trojans, hijacks and other malware.

We will decline to do any work at all on a Windows 7 computer except:

• Upgrade your computer to Windows 10/11 if feasible as described above.

• Apply our New Computer Setup & Transfer Service.
